Oh yes very much so. Mostly cause I really don’t like the look of most 4 door Mercs and the SLK is beautiful and a hardtop convertible. Now I would take a CLK63 AMG Black if that was in my price range.

I might agree with you on the newer SLK’s but the ones from this vintage (late 90's, early 00's) look like total chick cars to me... it’s why I’m buying it for my wife ;-) I drive the C55 AMG as a daily and need 4 doors.

Eww, the newer ones are too squat and the front end is hideous. I love the look of the early 2000's model. Its small, but lots of room and classic Mercedes lines. Now a newer Sl.... but those are way too much. Plus yes the 230K is definitely a “chick” car, but I love the 32AMG and can totally be a mans car.
